Soy Luxe was a collaborative project in my Global Sourcing course, that consisted of creating a unique product and globally sourcing our product. We wanted to create a bedding line that benefited our customer, and fitted their skin care needs. We drew inspiration from the soy fabric that is used for baby clothing due to their sensitive skin. We wanted to incorporate that into our bedding because of the benefits it had as well as the softness factor. There were many factors that we had to consider such as our CSR, our values, assortment plan, and the country(s) we were sourcing from.
