In my Non-Traditional course, my group and I created a new strategic initiative for Dick's Sporting Goods. We wanted to get more customers to go in-store by enhancing their shopping experience to make it more enjoyable and encourage them to continue shopping at brick and mortar stores. We decided that the best way to achieve this goal was by enhancing the displays to make it interactive for all ages with through the use of technology. We created The Weather Room, which would should different weather conditions in relation to clothing and body mapping to help educate our customers on the clothing they will need for their sports. We also kept in mind omni-channeling and a way to add it to The Weather Room, and give customers the options to save their results and suggested clothing by sending their information to their phone and Dick's Sporting Goods account.
